A complete AI-generated advertising drama for kitUP, built around a single motivation and a single story. Every part of the process, from the first prompt to the final edit, is documented here.kitUP için tek bir motivasyon ve tek bir hikâye etrafında kurulmuş, uçtan uca yapay zekâ ile üretilmiş bir reklam draması. İlk promptdan son kurguya kadar sürecin tamamı burada belgeleniyor.
kitUP is NativeMinds' own flagship product, a book summary and reading app the studio has grown since 2018. My task: build a complete AI-generated advertising drama for kitUP, inspired by the storytelling style of viral short-drama platforms like DramaBox and ReelShort. Visuals, video, voice, prompts and iteration, produced entirely with AI, with the process documented as closely as the final cut. kitUP, NativeMinds'ın 2018'den beri büyüttüğü kendi amiral gemisi ürünü, bir kitap özeti ve okuma uygulaması.

I selected Digital Mastery: taking control back from endless doomscrolling.Dijital Hakimiyet'i seçtim: bitmek bilmeyen doomscrolling'den kontrolü geri almak.
I chose it because the behavior is immediately recognizable. People scroll in bed, while commuting, while waiting, and even while sitting with friends. The pain point is not only lost time. The deeper problem is losing attention, conversations and presence in moments that are already happening.
The creative thought behind the concept was simple: the issue is not having a phone. The issue is what we repeatedly give our small empty moments to.Konseptin arkasındaki yaratıcı düşünce basitti: mesele telefon sahibi olmak değil. Mesele, küçük boş anlarımızı tekrar tekrar neye verdiğimiz.
Research and concept development took around 1.5 work days.Araştırma ve konsept geliştirme yaklaşık 1.5 iş günü sürdü.
The broader message is that the user does not need to remove the phone from their life. They need to take control of what they use those small moments for.
These timecodes are pulled directly from the final 68-second cut, not estimated. Each still below is exactly the frame that made it into the edit, in the exact order it appears. Aşağıdaki her sabit kare, kurguya giren gerçek sahne, gerçek sırasıyla.

From a quiet, direct question to an energetic sense of progress, kept in English exactly as recorded.
Do you do this too? You get into bed and start scrolling. You're on the bus, waiting somewhere, and you're scrolling again. Then you're sitting with your friends… still staring at the screen. A few minutes somehow turns into an hour. And you're not just losing time. You're missing the moments and conversations happening right in front of you. That's where kitUP comes in.
In the first three days, you start scrolling less and using those moments to learn something that actually stays with you. By the end of the first week, you have more to say, you follow conversations more easily, and expressing your thoughts starts to feel more natural. By the second week, you're building real knowledge, sharpening your communication skills, and becoming more confident in the way you speak, listen, and connect with people. You're not just spending less time scrolling. You're becoming more informed, more present, and more in control of your attention. Stop wasting those little moments. Use them to grow with kitUP. Take the quick quiz, get your personalized plan, and start now.
I wanted the voice to feel like a mature storyteller rather than a young UGC creator. The intention was cinematic, authoritative and intimate without sounding theatrical or noisy.
A distinctive elderly British male storyteller, around 65-75, with a deep, solid, full-bodied and authoritative voice. Very clear pronunciation, strong chest resonance, firm projection and a clean, focused midrange. Crisp, punchy and close to the listener, never muffled, distant, breathy or overly raspy.
Give it a clean 1990s British TV broadcast character: tight broadcast compression, warm analogue tone, subtle mono presence and polished studio clarity. Absolutely no background hiss, static, crackle, tape noise, hum, room noise or radio interference.
Natural British English with subtle South London undertones. Confident, conversational storytelling with controlled emphasis and short dramatic pauses. No coughing, sighing, throat clearing or filler sounds. Mature, mysterious, sharp and cinematic.
I wanted a tactile and emotional visual world instead of a clean product-ad aesthetic. The final direction became a handcrafted knitted stop-motion puppet look, with visible yarn and fabric textures. The style supports both the melancholy opening and the warmer transformation later in the story.
I first found a knitted-character visual style in another advertisement that caught my attention and felt increasingly popular in short-form creative. I used that image only as a style reference during exploration. I did not reuse the original character as the final asset.
AI was a production accelerator, not the creative director. I used models to help organize research, explore style options, produce assets, refine prompts, generate voice and animate stills. I kept human control over concept selection, pain point, story logic, prompt decisions, character approval, output rejection, re-generation, quality control and final edit.AI bir üretim hızlandırıcısıydı, yaratıcı yönetmen değil. Araştırmayı organize etmek, stil seçeneklerini keşfetmek, asset üretmek, promptları iyileştirmek, ses üretmek ve sabit görselleri canlandırmak için modelleri kullandım. Konsept seçimi, acı nokta, hikâye mantığı, prompt kararları, karakter onayı, çıktı reddi, yeniden üretim, kalite kontrolü ve final kurgu üzerinde insan kontrolünü korudum.

The brief asks for initial attempts next to improved final prompts. These are real examples from my process. The raw directions are exactly how I actually prompted during production, nothing here is an invented failure.Brief, ilk denemelerin iyileştirilmiş final promptların yanında gösterilmesini istiyor. Bunlar sürecimden gerçek örnekler. Ham yönlendirmeler, üretim sırasında gerçekten nasıl prompt yazdığımı birebir yansıtıyor, burada uydurma bir başarısızlık yok.
Kept collapsible because it gets long. Useful as proof of process. These 18 prompts show the scene-by-scene production direction after the style and character were locked.
Locking the 18 still frames was only half the job. Each still then needed its own image-to-video prompt for Kling 3.0, describing exactly how the camera moves, how she moves, what the phone does, and what we hear, while never breaking the knitted-puppet identity. This is where most of the real craft and correction happened, one motion detail at a time.18 sabit kareyi sabitlemek işin sadece yarısıydı. Her sabit kare için, kameranın nasıl hareket ettiğini, onun nasıl hareket ettiğini, telefonun ne yaptığını ve neyi duyduğumuzu tanımlayan, örgü kukla kimliğini hiç bozmadan ayrı bir görselden videoya promptu gerekiyordu. Asıl zanaat ve düzeltme burada, tek tek hareket detayında oldu.
Four concrete production problems, and what I actually did about each one.Dört somut üretim sorunu ve her biri için gerçekte ne yaptığım.
One of my biggest frustrations was that I wanted to describe many scenes once and receive separate, correctly ordered 9:16 outputs. In practice, multi-scene requests could be interpreted as a storyboard, collage or contact sheet instead of separate assets. I worked around this by generating scenes individually and making the prompts more explicit about a single full-frame image.
Maintaining the same face, hair, proportions, clothing and visual style across different environments required constant review. I used a locked image reference and repeated character constraints, then manually selected or regenerated scenes when the character drifted.
Hands, phone interaction, facial proportions, gaze direction and small environment details occasionally failed. I did not accept these automatically. I either regenerated the image, used AI-assisted fixes, or cleaned the asset in Photoshop.
A good still image did not automatically guarantee a usable moving shot. Motion could alter the face, hands or emotional tone. I used Kling 3.0 and Kling Omni in parallel where useful, compared outputs and kept human quality control before editing.İyi bir sabit görsel, otomatik olarak kullanılabilir bir hareketli çekim garantilemiyordu.
If I were producing this type of kitUP creative regularly, I would build an API-based internal workflow panel. The goal would not be to automate creative judgment. The goal would be to automate repetitive asset operations while keeping human checkpoints at the decisions that matter.
Human approval should remain mandatory at every one of these points, even inside an automated pipeline.
I did not track exact API spend because I worked through subscriptions and normal tool usage rather than a metered API workflow. Cost profiles are used here instead of invented dollar values.Tam API harcamasını takip etmedim çünkü ölçülü bir API iş akışı yerine abonelikler ve normal araç kullanımıyla çalıştım. Burada uydurma dolar değerleri yerine maliyet profilleri kullanılıyor.

I intentionally avoided showing kitUP constantly. I wanted the audience to understand the pain first and see the character change. kitUP appears at the turning point, but its effect is carried by the rest of the story. This keeps the creative from becoming a feature demo and makes the product feel more naturally connected to the problem.kitUP'ı sürekli göstermekten bilinçli olarak kaçındım.
I also avoided making every scene nighttime. The behavior is shown across morning, daytime, commuting, waiting, social environments and night, so doomscrolling feels like a repeated daily pattern rather than a single late-night habit.
My process starts with the pain point, not the tool. I try to understand what the user is feeling, how that problem can be dramatized quickly, and where the product can enter without breaking the story. I then use AI tools to speed up exploration and production, but I keep selection and judgment manual.Sürecim araçla değil, acı noktasıyla başlıyor.
The most useful part of AI for me is not "generate something for me." It is faster iteration. I can test a visual language, reject it, adjust a camera direction, repair a scene, compare motion outputs and keep moving without losing the central idea.AI'nin benim için en faydalı yanı "benim yerime bir şey üret" değil.
